Ministry Spotlight - Gen College @ USC

We started off strong last fall with Jumpstart Retreat combined with our sister ministry from CPP! We trained up in evangelism and winsome outreach strategies + prepped our hearts to stay grounded in a relationship with God. 

Now as USC has finished up for the school year, here’s a quick recap of all the golden memories we made this year! We started with Bible talks featuring different mentors sharing Biblical perspectives on friendship, purpose, career, money, dating & marriage then a Bible study series through Philippians.

Men’s & women’s groups ran the whole year and were exciting opportunities to connect deeper in relationships and in spiritual maturity as we challenged each other to grow through DTs, prayer, and serve, as well as do fun things like late night hikes, kickboxing classes, bumper car driving, dessert making, and more! 

Discipleship times combined across Gen College USC/UCLA were strengthening and included our Jonah Bible Camp, which was loads of fun and convicting as we learned how much we’re like Jonah in our response to God’s call to obedience.

With summer here, we’re also ready to compete in Summer Challenges to keep spiritually sharp and stay connected over the summer, and looking forward to next year’s Jumpstart Retreat in the fall to continue growing together!
